Somerville, Inc. Architects / Engineers of Green Bay were recently recognized for their architectural design at the Riverside Center project in Lacrosse, WI. The new $12 Million office headquarters for Logistic Health, Inc. was named one of the “Top Projects of 2006” by The Daily Reporter and Wisconsin Builder Magazine. With views of the Mississippi River and downtown, this six-story structure compliments the 20th century theme of LaCrosse’s cityscape. The efficient and well-integrated structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems incorporate state-of-the-art technology while keeping cost at a moderate level. The first floor lobby is a replication of the Historic Stoddard Hotel, built in 1903. The Stoddard served as the social hub for downtown LaCrosse for many years, hosting such celebrities as Elvis Presley, Sinclair Lewis, Richard Nixon, and American Architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
