Despite Recession Climate Somerville Inc. passes Stratford Referendum
Somerville, Inc. Architects and Engineers of Green Bay have helped to pass the Stratford School District Referendum by a 72% to 28% margin. The $3.7 million referendum will be used to consolidate student services and school offices, add classrooms including computer and science labs, increase security, and allow handicap access to all areas of the middle/high school. The project will also increase energy efficiencies, security, and classroom space in the elementary school. A team of Stratford citizens along with the support and direction of Somerville, Inc. and Miron Construction Co., Inc. of Neenah raised community awareness of the schools’ conditions resulting in forward movement of the project. Somerville, Inc. has an 86% success rate in passing referenda in the last decade.
