Lori Lemmen
Project Coordinator
When it rains, it pours, and that’s when Lori Lemmen is most at home in her work.
As project coordinator, she has days of frenzied work on project drawings, requests for information and other paperwork, then days of catching up on much less urgent items. But she’s at her best when she’s caught up in the deadlines and the pressure of it all. She’d rather be loaded up with responsibilities than searching for tasks and watching the clock.
At the mercy of other people’s schedules, it can be feast or famine in the world of a project coordinator, who oversees the paperwork architects need to execute the projects.
Fortunately, she truly enjoys those she works alongside each day. Her “second family” is easy to get along with, caring and attentive. A team that not only appreciates but truly inspires each other produces its best work.
Lori is an animal lover – both cat person and dog person – and she enjoys reading a good book. At work, it’s all about organization and communication, throughout the team and from project beginning to end.
With previous experience in the medical and dental field, she found new challenges in a new industry – and hasn’t looked back. Her career switch was more extreme than most, and the architecture field offered a bit of a learning curve. But she enjoys every aspect of the position.
