Escanaba Clinic

Bellin Health

The Bellin Health Escanaba Clinic merged the community’s two outdated clinics into a new, modern healthcare facility. The Somerville design team integrated evidence-based design and state-of-the-art medical technologies to emphasize patient care centering on patient safety, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. The one-story building is approximately 19,000 square feet in area, providing 30 exam rooms and diagnostic and support areas to serve nine physicians and their patients. The street facade of the building contains most of the public functions and building forms, including a large lobby volume and meeting areas. These building features are set against a simple brick-clad building form, which serves as a backdrop to the copper, glass and stone elements.
