Travis Grell
Senior Designer of Mechanical Engineering Systems

DES

It’s not easy for Travis Grell to show off his best work.

After all, Travis deals mainly with air – its temperature, its purity, how fast and how often it’s replenished. But you sure notice when Travis does his job well (which, as a notorious perfectionist, is every project he tackles). The environment feels comfortable, employee productivity is maximized and real energy savings are realized. All thanks to a well-designed climate control and HVAC plan that can include the latest technologies, from advanced geothermal heating systems and variable speed pumping systems to even fabric duct work and chilled beams.

Not only can Travis keep people comfortable, he can use his expertise to protect sensitive work environments such as major data centers. Such experience was crucial in Travis’ recent project designing systems for the an industrial client’s new Center of Excellence, a major LEED accredited, cutting edge research and design facility.

Travis also efficiently and seamlessly integrates his efforts with other disciplines and contractors. So no detail is left, well, up in the air.
